Happy Fathers Day?

Well - It is Fathers Day - and I have once again failed.  (At least he got a card and I remembered to have Paige sign it before she got on the plane!) - No gift - No special breakfast in bed - No big plans.  I am so sorry Honey - but on a good note - I sent him to the hardware store to buy stuff!!!   LOL.    You see - we purchased this swing set second hand for the low price of $**get it the hell out of our yard**.  We are all about this - so Dad did just that!   And here is how it evolved.

First sight:

 Hubbie disassembled and brought it home.  

As the days passed we finally have it all put up and have temporarily put up a rope swing for Maya Papaya and two of the baby swings so we can at least swing part of the group.

And a small interruption from the peanut gallery after a short lunch break:
"Hey - Dad - Hurry Up Already"

They were so excited to see that the swing set is now completed.

We are just waiting for Sissy to arrive so we can put on the last coat of paint.

(hint hint wink wink - make sure to pack appropriately)

 After taking this picture I  began to laugh uncontrollably.  

I said to Hubbie - "Did you ever in your wildest dreams think you would be constructing a play set that had so many swings?"   

Because it is a bit - oh whats the work - Freakish?

Well - we are a freak show!
