Well, we tried beets last night. Oh the horror! Because our children are so advanced (cough)... I opened a can of beets, cut them up in bite size pieces and VIOLA! eat them - with a little sweet potato on the side. Fail fail fail..... As we are feeding the babies - my wonderful husband continues to comment "maybe you should have put these in the food processor" "what about some sugar???" "maybe they are too cold" I have to think to myself " self, okay, count to ten.... 12345678910... breathe in and breathe out" I reply: "honey, maybe beets are just NASTY? and no one on the planet likes them!?!?!" My husband is immediately offended, because he LOOOOOOOOVES beets. (of freakin' course he does).... AUGH...
her caption: "it's the numbers 1 through 427 haha - I'm so bored - but I am in math class so technically I'm working with numbers, right? " oy ! vey !
I think I covered everything. Once Tante A releases the picture of "the boy" - will update :)
Love to all!

So - being the insanely awesome mother that I am, after the beets, I feed the children condolence cookies :) I have horrible Jewish guilt.... That went over amazing. Resulting in an immediate BATH:
Mary
Pia
Sam
??? Tante A is holding his picture hostage for it is too terrible ???
(thank you Tante A - big cookie kisses to you)
In the midst of all this commotion, dad has decided to play his new favorite game with the babies: HOT PAD CLAPPER. This games is played by taking two innocent hot pads and (guess what?) clapping them together. It just fascinates the babies to no end. SERIOUSLY? I kid you not:
On a lighter note: It was Dr. Suess day in Kindergarten and our little Maya has been added as a star on the Kindergarten class blog: http://kindergartengeneralstudies.blogspot.com/ (I am unsure who taught her to smile for pictures - but it looks like she is in some serious pain...) Anyway: The teacher sent me an email to ask if she could put Maya there because Maya had the best quote of all times: She told the teacher "I don't know why I was born with Dr. Seuss hair" funny.....
And as for our mathematician, Paige, she sent me this picture from math class yesterday:
