On Thursday of last week, we had several fun things happen.
1. My children obviously are more interested in what is happening down the hall instead of the marvelous adventures of whatever their mom is trying to do with them. As you can see - I had Mary with me playing until she realized that it was much cooler to look down the hall and watch the vacuum!
2. Nap time turned into tragedy... Everyone began in their own bed.... However, Pia decided to see if she could FLY and dove into her sisters bed. (since this photo was taken, Pia's mattress has been lowered to prevent anymore possible diving occurrences)...
3. As I don't have a picture of this, I took my girls out Thursday night to dairy queen and to the grocery. As we were driving along in the car, Maya asked so nicely if she could maybe have a toy or something from the store if she were good? I told her to look in her hand. Well her right hand was empty and she said to me "there is nothing in my hand!". I told her to look in her other hand. She proceeds to move her ice cream from her left hand to her right hand. She looks at her left hand and says "there is nothing in my hand!". I then tell her to look in her other hand. She proceeds to move her ice cream from her right hand back to her left hand. She then becomes frustrated with me "Mommy! There is really nothing in my hand!" At this point, I am thinking we are having a Laurel and Hardy moment as I begin to giggle uncontrollably! "Maya - your treat is the yummy special ice cream."..... "OH, she says!" Too funny. (Poor Paige! She almost lost ice cream out of her nose - we laughed quite hard at Maya's expense)....
4. And- for a feel bad for me moment.... Sammy and Pia and Mary are all in their walkers running around the place... Pia (of course) begins to announce her aggravation with this scene - so we take her out of her walker and let her crawl around on the floor. Sammy got wind of Pia's freedom and he decided that he wanted out too. Now lovely Mary who never complains, was taunted by her siblings. "Look we got out and you are stuck in the walker!!!" She is just a little bit pissed! So - had to take this picture. Priceless.
5. And finally - we went to the park for swinging on Saturday. Now - as you all know - we only use two swings. However we had to wait for the swings because a couple had both swings taken. One for their child and the other for mom's purse! WTH? Seriously? It was pretty priceless. They took their time - and she never offered the Purse swing to us. NICE! What a way to teach your child about being nice to others. Here is hoping that her purse enjoyed the swing.
It never ends...... Zoltan OUT! :)
