I don't even know where to begin!

DO YOU SEE THIS BIG GIANT HEAD???
It is a weapon.
Here is my story:
Sunday morning we were all playing nice and independently.

Mary, sucking on a tylenol bottle.
(because early drug knowledge is never wasted)
 Pia, playing with the leggos.
(future bridge builder)
 And, Samuel
(sorry - I am still so pissed - I got nothing!)

The birds are chirping and the butterflies are flying around the playroom (obviously I was also sucking on tylenol!!)....    when all of a sudden, out of the blue - the boy (aka: LF) - came running toward me at full speed, head down in ram truck position and WHAMMO!   I clearly don't remember much due to the fact that the impact caused me to suffer a mild concussion and tooth loss.  YES - MFing TOOTH LOSS!  The boy has got to go!   Seriously?   I had to go to the dentist to have her fix the chip in my front tooth.  As the starts stopped spinning around my head - and the chip was located from the shag carpet - LF was laughing so uncontrollably - I didn't see it coming when he got up from the ground and was back for more!  At this point - I am sofa king pissed that I am throwing the LF to the ground in RAGE - and he is just laughing - and he knows the sign for "more" - his little hands are smashing together - MORE MORE MORE MORE - and the tears are streaming down my face - I am wondering if I may be bleeding - or if HE is bleeding because of the force of impact and WHAM!  Again - and I toss him across the room - and more jaw dropping laughter from this child - MORE MORE MORE MORE!    Mutha Trucker - DUDE - are you kidding me????

So - that was my excitement on Sunday.
The dentist fixed my tooth back to perfect.
She was royally entertained at the story.
And now the boy will be notorious at the Dental Office!
I still have the knot on my forehead.
As always - My love to you all!

COSI - brilliant.

Today we finally did it!  We bundled up, locked in and set sail for our local science center COSI.  Now, I don't have a membership - but the website says if I am a premium member - I can arrive at 9:00 and play for one hour before the "regular" people arrive.    I arrived - the lady asked for my card - I told her I was there to become a Premium member and she gave us all passes.  Then she asked nicely to go to the membership desk before we leave and pay.  Well, hell!   At this rate - I can go free forever!   (Just kidding - we paid)

So we pull into the KidZone and the babies find the ball pit.
Now I am not sure this is a  ball pit -
I think the balls just wind up here so they can vacuum around the area -
but they all went in and played.
 Next stop, the ENORMOUS LEGGOS!!!
We built a few walls and busted them all down - way cool.
Check out our amazing bike skills.
(yes - he is on the bike backwards)
please - just go with it.
Mary could not decide which color to ride - so she rode all of the bikes!
Pia picked the most complicated bike they had and rode it into the wall.
She was not hurt in the accident - a little embarrassed.
(no dent in the wall)
So now we have moved on to the fake houses.
They come equipped with a fake sink and kid tools.
Plus a doorbell and a working light.
 Hard Hat Zone!
And finally - water worlds!  Oh Holy Hell.
So- each baby gets a rain coat (thank goodness)
and they sit in these seats that go around a puddle of water.
You will notice the little toys that you get to play with?
Sammy's was taken away because he could not seem to stop drinking the water.
Augh so gross!
Pia kept putting her finger on the little switch in front of her.
It pumped out little spurts of water!
Cute!!!
So out of the seats - you are thinking this is a HUGE disaster, right?
Bigger puddles of water to splash in.
Babies in all directions.
Its going to be WET!!!

This lady comes up to me and says that the staff will help you
dry your childs clothes if they  become too wet.
Now - I am sure she was just trying to be nice.
But it was how she looked at us and the tone.
You all know the tone.

My response?
We splashed even harder!!  teehheee
Phew!  So, no snacks at COSI -just play time.
And now we are all bundled up ready to go home and
get some lunch - but we had too much fun!!!!!

Yeah COSI!
Oh and special thanks to Melanie for going with us!

Love to all!!

Ah. Fall...

It is that time of year where we have one million leaves to rake and only a small period of time in which the city stops by to suck them up for removal.  Thankfully this year we have extra helpers with the leaves!

Our lovely Maya Papaya - is ready to rake and having a good time.

Sammy - well I think he likes the job of supervisor - notice that he does well holding the rake and assessing the situation!

Mary - she just likes to play with the leaves - throw them up in the air.

Pia - well - she just likes to inspect the leaves.

I have just realized that with the additional help (supervisor, thrower and inspector), we are quite possibly in a large amount of trouble and wonder if there is a magic wand to make the leaves disappear?

After all the hard work was done - we tried our hardest to throw all the children in the leaves and take a cute group picture.  Our resident photographer was out doing homework with friends - so amateur "mom" had to try to be creative.  So, after three attempts - I said "f*#K it" and so here is what you get!

My lovely assistant "DAD" was standing to my right trying to get everyone's attention - I am screaming at him "just clap - be loud - yell at them - something" - yeah - well forget it!  That did  not seem to work!   So,  I am trying to use my free hand to "snap" to get them to look up together!    And then - right before "I said f*#K it"- It dawned on me that we are dealing with 4 untamed autumn souls - who are being ONE with nature.  And there was no way in HELL that we were going to get any results.

Nature 1
Parental Units 0

Okay - so we lost.
We will be back!

The funny part of it - is that they slept like the dead and here is the morning scene:

Pia -
"seriously - try to get me out of this bed!"
Mary-
"holy shit that light is bright"
Sammy -
"can we play in the leaves again???"

All in a days work.
I seriously do not remember how quiet our lives used to be!

Love to all

Shoot - where does the time go?

I logged in today to blog and noticed it has been one month since I have blogged.  WTF?  I mean seriously, where does the time go?   In fact, I am not sure - but it only feels like last week when I sat down to blog (or maybe it feels like last year - just depends on the moment, I guess?)

These Babies have kept me hopping - that is for sure.   They are now headed for the light - yesterday I left them alone to just use the stinkin' bathroom and upon my return they were all pulling a poltergeist on me!  Carol Anne - run to the light!  As you can see - totally all the Boy's fault!   Caught Red Handed.

In any case - all the babies have returned from TV land - and snacks all around.
(Thank you Carol and Jimmy for the new table -
which converts to an Easel for future artistic work)

As the winter months are beginning to creep up on us - we are starting to worry about being stuck inside - so we got all dressed up and went to Costco.

I mean how stinkin' cute can these guys be???

Cute until the terrorize they dresser and pull out all the diaper pail garbage bags!!
As you can see by the picture - they are having a conversation about who is going to take the blame for the mess that they have found themselves in
Sammy:  "shit - i am in the drawer - she is going to blame me"
Mary:  "dude - i told you not to get in the drawer - yea you are busted"
Pia: "ha! serves you right - you talked us into doing it in the first place"
Sammy: "so if we just all look at each other - do you think mom will go away?"

Note to readers:
All children were blamed for incident -
and bags have been relocated.

Damnit

As I am picking up the bags -
they relocate themselves to another place they are not suppose to be:
The couch
Are you guys really freakin' kidding me?

Note to readers:
All children were blamed for being unable to
remember that they can not use the couch as a jungle gym
& the couch has been relocated.

Double Damnit

Very soon the room will be empty.
Just a few pillows and blankets on the floor.
Like a padded cell.
I will just place the food tray under the door.
They will be fine.
They have access to a bathroom.

Hmmmmm.

Love to all.

Get off my Back already!

DAD - GET OFF MY BACK!
Five or Six years ago, Mousa and I were at this discount clothing warehouse.  We bought Maya a Cleveland Indians outfit - in preparation for the possibility that she may be a boy.  She wore the outfit - maybe once or twice.   Well, ever since Sammy was born, his father has been reminding me (bugging the shit out of me) that we locate that outfit so the boy could finally wear it - so here he is!!!!

At first, he looks a little traumatized....
So - we gave him a little drink....
and ta-da-la-da!   Happiness!
(I am sure it is mainly due to the fact that he is playing in a  box
- but lets not tell dad...)

Notice - the girls want nothing to do with this display of non-Packer sportsmanship!
So Mary and Paige went for a little horse back ride.
And Maya and Pia ran round and round the front room....

After our CHOO CHOO ride on Sunday - They went out in the back yard to play for a few minutes as I was putting the wagon away.  When I finally made it to the back yard - here is what I found:

Yep - they were playing in the kitchen sink with the dirty rain water.
(drinking it in their hands)

and

eating rocks.

This is what I get for letting Maya be the " hey will you keep an eye on the babies while I put the wagon away in the garage" big sister.    LOL

and...
this is just another reason why we love all these kids so stinkin' much!

Hat day??? Seriously?

As the summer is ending - I am sad to say that we will not be sending many more pictures from our famous outdoor swing set and those crazy pool moments!  (actually the  babies did not really like the pool as much as they liked the industrial bucket we put at the bottom of the slide!  go figure).
It is going to be back to "inside time!"

Hat day at our house consisted of one hat and smiling faces:
Pia
 Mary
 Yup...  Sammy

However - Pia is more fond of being a Crock Head...
After Hat Day - we decided it was better to go outside again - only problem is that our beautiful Mary decided to use the emergency exit of her Cozy Coupe.  (I think this is the last outdoor picture unless we get some really good weather!)  No one was injured during this emergency exit incident.
Sometimes I wonder about these babies!
(back to drinking margaritas)

So - I have to send a shout out to Atlanta!
Thanks for sending an early holiday present.
Pictures of our Choo Choo Wagon:
This is right out of the box.....
And we are off around the neighborhood!
This little wagon is AWESOME!
Choo Choo!

We are tooling around the neighborhood the other day and this kid is riding his bike with his dad.  They bike past us and the kid (he is about 12) says to his dad "well i have never seen anything like that  before!"  ha!  I chuckled.  Again, I need to carry candy so I can throw it to the onlookers of our parade!

Gotta love our little freak show!
Love to all!

Ahhhhh......

As much as I hate to see summer ending - I am so pleased that school has started.  We have a few bored people in our house!!!     And they need to get back to school!
Senior 2012!
 First Grade
So that means our home is quiet today!
Ha!   Funny!  I don't remember quiet!
I also do not remember a kleenex incident as catastrophic as this one.
They all started out so innocent!
So - to the outside we go!    And as we find our way outside - I remember just how much fun it is to be little and explore.  Because when you are little - you don't worry about anything.  Everything is new and adventurous.   All the smells and tastes are interesting.
(yep.  mud pies -notice the pile of mud?)
And what are your sisters doing?
Maya is helping Sammy to make the pies o'mud....
Mary has found a pile of dirt to play in....
Pia is riding in the "hot car"
But Wait!!!!!
There is water in the cozy coupe!!!
Excellent - lets splash!!!!
Big hug to Maya - notice the wet hand print on her butt????
Shit - where did Sammy go???
DUDE!   I mean seriously?
This all happened within a 15 minute span -
and yes, Maya did change clothing.
So - screw it - lets go for a freakin' ride ppl.!
Do you know how dangerous this ride is???
Well - no worries - we only go around the driveway!

So - there you go!
Now that school is back in session -
I think I may be back On-line :)

Love to all.
